ROCHESTER SCHOOL RECEIVES\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION AS\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/span>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153GREAT PLACE TO STUDY\u00e2\u20ac<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

We are proud to announce the community that on February 17, 2020, Rochester School received its 4th International Certification, as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Great Place to Study\u00e2\u20ac<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

What is Great Place to Study and how it came to Colombia?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153For the first time it comes to Latin America, starting in Colombia, a worldwide tool to measure satisfaction and happiness in educational institutions, the launching of which took place in June, 2019, with the presence of Mr. Shekhar A Bhattacharjee, founder, CEO, and part of the GPTS team.\u00e2\u20ac (Magazine EDU, Cipr\u00e9s)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Great Place to Study” is an educational and technological research global enterprise, engaged in the evaluation and certification of universities and schools, based on satisfaction surveys, completed by students, teachers and parents. Such certification is a badge of honor granted to institutions after carrying out scientific data studies collected through an automated satisfaction survey, using learing and evaluation practices of the 21st century. It started in India, it was established in 2012, and it operates with headquarters in London, Delhi and Manila. With presence in 23 countries, it has now its Latin American chapter in Bogot\u00c3\u00a1, Colombia, through Cipr\u00e9s Mercadeo Educativo, its educational partner to exclusively represent them.\u00e2\u20ac (Revista EDU)<\/span><\/p>\n

There are already operations in Mexico, starting soon in Per\u00c3\u00ba, Chile and\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Argentina. At present, there are more than 400 institutions certified as a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Great Place to Study\u00e2\u20ac around the world.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What does Great Place to Study measure?<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Basically SIX (6) key indicators: 1- The Learning Experience 2- The Happiness\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Factor\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>3- Extracurricular Activities 4- Infrastructure\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>5- Life in the Campus\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>6- Psychological Well-Being\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>of Teachers and Students, as well as general satisfaction of Parents and Teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today in Colombia there are already 27 schools, some already certified and others in the process of certification, which are part of the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153TOP 50 GREAT SCHOOLS OF COLOMBIA\u00e2\u20ac, in a program where only 50 schools in our country will be certified as a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Great Place to Study\u00e2\u20ac.<\/span><\/p>\n

We want to congratulate the entire community on this great achievement, give thanks to all students, teachers and parents for their participation, dedication and timely completion of the surveys. We will continue working\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>in pusuit of happiness and satisfaction of the community. Excellent teamwork! <\/span><\/p>\n
