Last Friday, April the 24th, our teachers and parents celebrated a very special day, <\/span>Children’s Day<\/i><\/b>. Friday went on with online picnics, engaging activities designed by teachers, and classes filled with magic where students wore costumes and were superheroes.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With joy and love for our children, we honor their lives with this adapted version of a lovely poem written by Avantika Sood.<\/span><\/p>\n

A child is blessed everyday,
<\/span><\/i>To fulfill the dreams & overcome hopes and fears.
<\/span><\/i>From hearts and minds,
<\/span><\/i>Spirits and souls.
<\/span><\/i>Children love each other with no strings,
<\/span><\/i>So on this children’s day;
<\/span><\/i>I pray that all of us hold,
<\/span><\/i>To one another’s hands and together sing.
<\/span><\/i>Today in this land and all around the world,
<\/span><\/i>We too have the spirits of love, wisdom, and hope to follow.
<\/span><\/i>To love our fellow youths as our ancestors did;
<\/span><\/i>We hold in our hearts the hopes and wishes,
<\/span><\/i>Of every teacher, dad, and mom today in this place;
<\/span><\/i>With hugs and love and heartfelt kisses;
<\/span><\/i>to let me know that this is \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcChildren’s day.’<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
