With great pride we present to you our AP Program from <\/span>College Board<\/span><\/a>, specially designed for our 12th Grade students. We started this program 4 years ago in our effort to provide students with more opportunities to study abroad or enroll in a national university, which gives college credit. In addition, <\/span>the AP<\/span>\u00c2\u00ae<\/span><\/a> Program offers college-level courses to help<\/span> students prepare for their university experiences. <\/span>The AP<\/span>\u00c2\u00ae<\/span><\/a> Program is part of our international education complying with our commitment as members of the Council of International School – CIS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting this year, all the students enrolled in Math and\/or Natural Science AP Courses will present the corresponding exam in May 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why taking an AP course and the exams?\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0153\u201d <\/span> Taking these courses and exams will let students earn college credits and skip introductory courses in college.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0153\u201d <\/span> Taking these courses shows colleges that you have a high demanding curriculum.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0153\u201d <\/span> Research consistently shows that AP students are better prepared for college than students who don’t take AP.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u0153\u201d <\/span> Taking AP can help students get a taste of college, develop college skills, and discover passions.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0153\u201d <\/span> It allows for blended learning because the AP classroom platform will enable students to advance at their own pace and prepare for the exams independently.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0153\u201d<\/span> In Colombia, Andes, Rosario, Javeriana, CESA, and Sabana Universities accept these courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Resumen: Nos sentimos orgullosos de presentar el Programa AP de College Board, especialmente dise\u00c3\u00b1ado para nuestros estudiantes de Und\u00e9cimo grado. Iniciamos este programa hace 4 a\u00c3\u00b1os en nuestro esfuerzo para proveer a los estudiantes con mayores oportunidades de estudio en el exterior o en las universidades nacionales que validan cr\u00e9ditos por estas asignaturas. Adicionalmente, el Programa AP ofrece cursos de nivel universitario para preparar a los estudiantes para sus nuevas experiencias universitarias. El Programa AP es parte de nuestra educaci\u00c3\u00b3n internacional cumpliendo con nuestro compromiso como miembros del Consejo de Colegios Internacionales – CIS. Comenzando este a\u00c3\u00b1o, todos los estudiantes inscritos en los cursos AP de Matem\u00c3\u00a1ticas y\/o Ciencias Naturales presentar\u00c3\u00a1n el examen correspondiente en mayo del 2021.
