{"id":245361,"date":"2023-11-24T10:29:31","date_gmt":"2023-11-24T15:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rochesterapps.com\/rochestereduco\/lions-honor\/developing-new-skills-in-the-community"},"modified":"2023-11-24T10:29:31","modified_gmt":"2023-11-24T15:29:31","slug":"developing-new-skills-in-the-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rochesterapps.com\/rochestereduco\/lions-honor\/developing-new-skills-in-the-community","title":{"rendered":"Developing New Skills in the Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here at the Learning Resources Center, as we&#8217;ve come to the end of August, we&#8217;ve also begun a cycle of inductions for Upper Elementary, which were focused on our spaces, resources, services, and how to take advantage thereof.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likewise, we&#8217;ve already begun similar talks with Middle School and High School students, in which we&#8217;ve appreciated their high-quality participation.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This achievement is the LRC&#8217;s first step in our quest to increase our support in the development of these skills in our community.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We congratulate both teachers and students for their positive participation, and look to provide ever more support in these aspects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lorena Peralta<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Learning Resources Center Assistant Director<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resumen: <\/strong><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En agosto pasado el Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje del Colegio Rochester inici\u00c3\u00b3 el ciclo de inducciones con los estudiantes de primaria alta, cuyo objetivo es mostrar y reconocer nuestros espacios, recursos, servicios, y c\u00c3\u00b3mo aprovecharlos.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De igual manera, se ha iniciado con estas charlas dirigidas en esta ocasi\u00c3\u00b3n a los estudiantes de escuela media y alta, llegando\u00c2\u00a0 a tener una muy buena\u00c2\u00a0 participaci\u00c3\u00b3n por parte de los estudiantes.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c3\u2030ste es un importante logro que el CRA viene realizando como herramienta de apoyo en la formaci\u00c3\u00b3n de las habilidades de nuestra comunidad.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Felicitamos a los profesores y estudiantes por su positiva participaci\u00c3\u00b3n y esperamos brindarles m\u00c3\u00a1s apoyo al respecto.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here at the Learning Resources Center, as we&#8217;ve come to the end of August, we&#8217;ve also begun a cycle of inductions for Upper Elementary, which were focused on our spaces, resources, services, and how to take advantage thereof.
