The goal of the activity was to examine evidence of climate change, exploring sources of carbon emissions, and\u00a0 investigate consequences and some possible solutions for climate change in order to develop and use models, constructing explanations, designing solutions and analyzing real situations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The students did an experiment where they did measurements about the heat absorption property of carbon dioxide as an important first step in understanding climate change. They exposed two closed systems to a heat source and recorded changes in temperature over time. El objetivo de la actividad fue examinar la evidencia del cambio clim\u00e1tico, explorar fuentes de emisiones de carbono e investigar sus consecuencias y algunas posibles soluciones para el cambio clim\u00e1tico con el fin de desarrollar y utilizar modelos, construir explicaciones, dise\u00f1ar soluciones y analizar situaciones reales.<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>Los estudiantes realizaron un experimento en el que tomaron medidas sobre la propiedad de absorci\u00f3n de calor del di\u00f3xido de carbono como un primer paso importante para comprender el cambio clim\u00e1tico. Expusieron dos sistemas cerrados a una fuente de calor y registraron los cambios de temperatura a lo largo del tiempo.
