AP Environmental Science students from Twelfth Grade designed a class for teaching students from Upper Elementary how earthquakes and volcanoes are produced, what are plate boundaries and how scientists use instruments like a seismograph to understand and register earth\u2019s crust movement. Fourth Graders had fun in an interactive class in which they practiced what to do during an earthquake, saw some videos, took quizzes and even build their own seismograph. It\u2019s a great accomplishment for students to teach each other and enjoy it so much.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nuestros estudiantes de Und\u00e9cimo y Tercer Grado lograron trabajar juntos para aprender sobre los terremotos. Estudiantes de Ciencias Ambientales AP de Und\u00e9cimo Grado dise\u00f1aron una clase para ense\u00f1ar a los estudiantes de Primaria Alta c\u00f3mo se producen los terremotos y los volcanes, qu\u00e9 son las placas tect\u00f3nicas y c\u00f3mo los cient\u00edficos usan instrumentos como un sism\u00f3grafo para comprender y registrar el movimiento de la Tierra. Los alumnos de Tercer Grado se divirtieron en una clase interactiva en la que practicaron qu\u00e9 hacer durante un terremoto, vieron algunos videos, realizaron ex\u00e1menes cortos e incluso construyeron su propio sism\u00f3grafo.
