{"id":241876,"date":"2023-11-23T15:12:39","date_gmt":"2023-11-23T20:12:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rochesterapps.com\/rochestereduco\/lions-honor\/elementary-art-uncoli"},"modified":"2023-11-23T15:12:39","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T20:12:39","slug":"elementary-art-uncoli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rochesterapps.com\/rochestereduco\/lions-honor\/elementary-art-uncoli","title":{"rendered":"Elementary Art UNCOLI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Representing Rochester School in Uncoli Primary Art Festival in the Girls Gymnasium.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From February 16 to 24, 2023 Rochester School participated in the UNCOLI elementary arts festival with works by students from Second, Third, Fourth\u00a0and Fifth Grades.<\/p>\n<p>The second grade students participated with large format drawings with grease pastel on Kraft paper, in which they represented how they imagined their body inside, how they would represent pains, thoughts, sensations, the sound entering through the ears or how a thought is connected with the act of moving a part of the body, the bones, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The third grade students participated with illustrations of endangered animals made on cardboard straw octavos using the &#8220;estambre&#8221; technique; used by the Mexican indigenous people called Huicholes, which consists of outlining and making shapes with colored wool on a hard surface glued with liquid glue. Quite a challenge to do it manually.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fifth grade students participated with very detailed works in pointillism or pixel art in the technique of painting on cardboard based on mandala-like representations of eyes. \u00a0They also participated with some POP Art-themed ink compositions called &#8220;Positive Words&#8221;; in which they appropriated a famous brand or their world of quality to change the text for a positive message.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We were touring the Women&#8217;s Gymnasium and seeing very interesting works from the UNCOLI schools. It is noteworthy that the exhibition was spread throughout the campus, so that during the tour we could appreciate, apart from the art exhibition, the daily life of the school, with local guides very face=\"trebuchet ms, sans-serif\" size=\"2\"><i>Representando al Colegio Rochester en Uncoli de Arte Primaria en el Gimnasio Femenino\u00a0<\/i><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"trebuchet ms, sans-serif\" size=\"2\"><i>Del 16 al 24 de Febrero del a\u00f1o 2023 el Colegio Rochester particip\u00f3 en el festival de artes de primaria de los colegios UNCOLI \u00a0con trabajos de estudiantes de Primero, Segundo, Tercero y Cuarto Grado.<\/i><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"trebuchet ms, sans-serif\" size=\"2\"><i>Los estudiantes de Primer Grado participaron \u00a0con dibujos en gran formato con pastel graso sobre papel Kraft , en los que representaban c\u00f3mo imaginaban su cuerpo por dentro, c\u00f3mo representar\u00edan los dolores, \u00a0los pensamientos, las sensaciones, el sonido entrando por los o\u00eddos o c\u00f3mo se conecta un pensamiento con el acto de mover una parte del cuerpo, los huesos etc.\u00a0<\/i><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"trebuchet ms, sans-serif\" size=\"2\"><i>Los estudiantes de Segundo Grado participaron con unas ilustraciones de animales en v\u00eda de extinci\u00f3n hechas en octavos de cart\u00f3n paja usando la t\u00e9cnica del \u201cestambre\u201d; utilizada por los ind\u00edgenas mexicanos llamados \u00a0Huicholes que consiste en delinear y realizar formas con lanas de colores sobre una superficie dura pegadas con pegamento l\u00edquido. Todo un reto para realizarlo manualmente.\u00a0<\/i><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"trebuchet ms, sans-serif\" size=\"2\"><i>Los estudiantes de Cuarto Grado participaron con unos trabajos muy detallados en puntillismo o pixel art en la t\u00e9cnica de pintura sobre cart\u00f3n \u00a0basados en representaciones tipo mandala de ojos. \u00a0Tambi\u00e9n participaron con unas composiciones en tinta con tem\u00e1tica POP Art llamadas \u201cPalabras Positivas\u201d; en las que se apropiaban de alguna marca famosa o de su mundo de calidad para cambiarles el texto por un mensaje positivo.\u00a0<\/i><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"trebuchet ms, sans-serif\" size=\"2\"><i>Estuvimos recorriendo el Gimnasio Femenino y viendo trabajos muy interesantes de los colegios UNCOLI.
