This trimester, we got the opportunity to learn about different species that live in the Tropical Rain Forest as part of our English and Integrated project curricula. We learned about their habitat and some facts about what makes these animals unique. In English and project class, we discovered animal\u2019s names, their body parts, and some fun facts. We got to practice these by making arts and crafts, games and movement activities.<\/p>\n

For this reason, we decided to integrate this topic with IVL and P.E. classes. Through cooperative work, Pre-Kinder students and teachers were able to enjoy from different movement circuits where we had to face obstacles acting out like tropical forest animals.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s Jump like Amazon Jungle frogs, crawl like boa snakes, run fast like jaguars. Through these fun and engaging activities, we got to consolidate the information we learned by facing different challenges and obstacles.<\/p>\n

Movi\u00e9ndonos como Animales del Bosque SecoTropical<\/em><\/p>\n

Este trimestre tuvimos la oportunidad de aprender sobre diferentes especies que viven en el Bosque Seco Tropical como parte del curr\u00edculo de la clase de Ingl\u00e9s y proyecto integrado. Aprendimos sobre este h\u00e1bitat, y los animales que viven all\u00ed, tambi\u00e9n sobre qu\u00e9 hace a estos animales \u00fanicos. En clase de Ingl\u00e9s y proyecto integrado descubrimos los nombres de estos animales, sus partes del cuerpo y algunos datos curiosos sobre ellos. Pusimos en pr\u00e1ctica este conocimiento a trav\u00e9s de manualidades, juegos y movimiento.<\/em>

Por este motivo, decidimos integrar este tema con las clases de IVL y Educaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica. A trav\u00e9s del trabajo cooperativo, estudiantes y profesores pudimos disfrutar de diferentes circuitos de movimiento donde tuvimos que enfrentar obst\u00e1culos y actuar como animales del bosque tropical.<\/em><\/p>\n

Saltemos como ranas de la Selva Amaz\u00f3nica, arrastr\u00e9monos como boas, corramos r\u00e1pido como Jaguares. A trav\u00e9s de estas actividades fascinantes y divertidas pudimos consolidar la informaci\u00f3n aprendida al enfrentar diferentes obst\u00e1culos.<\/em>
