During this school year, students worked on the \u201cEnchanted Forest\u201d project, which is a compilation of three Colombian forests; Andean Forest, tropical rainforest, and tropical dry forest.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the first trimester, students carried out activities related to the Andean Forest. They learned about the weather, animals, and plants. In the second trimester, children could work in the tropical rainforest, they studied the fruits, distinct kinds of trees and environments. In this last trimester, they participated in many activities related to fossils, birds, and particular plants of the tropical dry forest. In addition, students received an informative talk about birds from Cundinamarca and Casanare in which they interacted with Jaime Pe\u00f1a, a bird watcher who showed them his photographic exhibition. Through this project, the different subjects were able to connect, allowing students to strengthen civic skills such as environmental care and respect for nature.<\/p>\n

Durante el a\u00f1o escolar, los estudiantes trabajaron el proyecto \u201cBosque encantado\u201d que es una recopilaci\u00f3n de tres bosques del ecosistema colombiano; bosque andino, bosque h\u00famedo tropical y bosque seco tropical.\u00a0<\/p>\n

En el primer trimestre, los estudiantes realizaron actividades relacionadas con el bosque andino. Aprendieron sobre el clima, los animales y las plantas. En el segundo trimestre, los ni\u00f1os trabajaron el bosque h\u00famedo tropical, ellos estudiaron sobre las frutas, los diferentes \u00e1rboles y ambientes. En este \u00faltimo trimestre, hicieron actividades sobre f\u00f3siles, aves y plantas caracter\u00edsticas del bosque seco tropical. Adem\u00e1s, los estudiantes recibieron una charla informativa sobre aves de Cundinamarca y Casanare en el que interactuaron con Jaime Pe\u00f1a, un avistador de aves y su exposici\u00f3n fotogr\u00e1fica. A trav\u00e9s de este proyecto se pudieron conectar las diferentes asignaturas, permitiendo que los estudiantes fortalecieran habilidades c\u00edvicas como el cuidado del medio ambiente y el respeto por la naturaleza.<\/p>\n
