Mr. Maglioni\u00a0– What’s one project or assignment from your Real World English 7 class that you’re particularly proud of, and why?<\/p>\n
Tomas – I am proud of the Vocabulary Log I created in class because I could enhance my vocabulary and I managed to describe my personality traits.<\/p>\n
Mr. Maglioni\u00a0– Can you share a specific example of how you applied something you learned in Real World English 7 to a real-life situation outside of school?<\/p>\n
Tomas – I have applied the things I\u2019ve learnt in class with my cousin who speaks English. I usually speak in English with him while we play video games online.<\/p>\n
Mr. Maglioni\u00a0– Were there any books or reading materials in the class that had a significant impact on you, and if so, how did they influence your understanding of the real world?<\/p>\n
Tomas – I really enjoy working with the Impact and Great Writing book because I\u2019ve learnt different things about intercultural learning. For example, we explored different aspects about the Festival of Colors in India and differences between Brazil and Chile. This was done while the teacher helped us comparing and contrasting our personality traits with those of our relatives.<\/p>\n
Mr. Maglioni\u00a0– What do you think is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned in your Real World English 7 class that you can use in your everyday life?<\/p>\n
Tomas – I\u2019ve learned how to ask for confirmation and agreement while using tag questions, and that\u2019s been valuable. In addition, Mr. Maglioni and all the teachers in Rochester School have been very patient and kind with me. I feel motivated and that I can achieve different things in my life.<\/p>\n
