6th grade students have been working on Extreme Weather events for the past two weeks and they have researched many characteristics related to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and heat waves, including the actions we can take when we face this kind of weather. Students reported the weather using the vocabulary and the ways we can refer to future actions based on the extreme weather they might encounter. Also, students showed their empathy and kindness to the ideas and work of their classmates.<\/p>\n
