Kindergarten students have worked on the skill of reading and writing rhythmic pregraphs. The pregraphs are exercises that represent the basis of what will be the musical figures such as half note, quarter note and eighth note.<\/p>\n
These pregraphics promote not only rhythmic development, but also literacy development since they encourage visual-motor coordination, where they associate the image to a sound and are able to read and write sequences.<\/p>\n
Through these pregraphs, Kindergarten students have played through movement, then read them individually and in pairs, as well as writing them through art.<\/p>\n
