This is a concrete stage where students have the opportunity to explore using concrete material such as buttons, beans, teddy bears or Cuisenaire rods.<\/p>\n<p>Trough this learning experiences, children develop a solid foundation in counting. They grasp the concept that each counter represents one number, and by physically manipulating these objects, they learn to associate quantity with numerical symbols. As they arrange, group, and count the counters, this tactile approach also enhances fine motor coordination and problem solving abilities.
